Lil' Shrimpie

I know, I know, it's been over a month since my last post. You figure loafer-itis has set in again at the Hedquist household. I suppose it has, but it's a symptom of something far greater than just laziness. Any guesses? I've dropped clues. . . .recipe of the week that rears it's ugly head at the porcelain throne, huge aversion to anything stinky (Shaun's breath), dr's appt. . . . that's right, I have a lil' shrimpie in my belly! I'm 14 weeks at this point, and even found out yesterday during the sonogram that we are having a little. . . .

. . . . no, I think I'll keep that a secret for a little while longer. What torture for my mom! Take the poll and later I'll reveal whether or not you're right! We're doing just great, other than that nasty thing called morning sickness which usually visits on and off during the day, and Shaun being gone for a month. We're super excited most days for another snuggly nugget, although sometimes we wonder whether we can really handle it. In fact, when I went in to grab prenatal vitamins at the pharmacy, Lucas was screaming as he tried to escape the cart, and Sophie was running around grabbing all the toys to throw them into the cart, and the pharmacist just looked at me like I was crazy. Maybe we are. Crazy in love with our kids. It's a happy time!
